although i love supras, they're just too common for me around here. I've never seen a turbo IS in my area, only at shows. besides, i'm not too sure how much i'd invest in a supra with the next gen coming out soon...

I would love a Turbo GS, but with overall I would do the IS 300.

Pickup a slightly used IS 300 and get the Power House Racing kit, maybe spend a total of $40,000 with the turbo kit, wheels and suspension.

Break down

Used 2001 IS 300 $24,500

Lightweight Forged wheels\tires $3500

Coilovers $1000

PHR Stage 2 Turbo with extras $13,000

So about $43,000 for one bad **** ride

More suspension addon's and bodykit could go another $5000 if you want

Like selling the manual ES and getting a 300 to turbo? Of course not.

Honestly, I can't choose 1. I LOVE the 1st Gen GS lines and the nog body style. I am too familar with coupes and still love the classic lines. There are no turbo 1st gens in SC or GS form in Atlanta.

The 2nd gen GS, well, I got one so that is pretty much out.

The IS is the newest model with the most up to date features (HID, VSC etc) but we got a couple turbos already here.

And EVERY TIME, I see a Supra, I fall in love. IMO, that is one car that looks way better in person than in pics.

So honestly, nothing is in front.

Hmmm, the SC 300 is ahead.

What about copping a 350Z/G35 or RX-8, they are all pretty awesome coupes with modding capability but no Lexus. Though they are newer. Just another thought in my head.

Dang mid-life crisis but I'm not mid-life yet...

What happened to the SW20 MR2.

Even if the MR2 was among the options, the Supra would still be my choice.
