It's ok my friend,
I was just raising the point that to many people it's not always about keeping up with others or showing off.
My wife asked me the other day, "why is everything I like always expensive?".
To which I replied, that' life and you have good taste!
Nice stuff is expensive and people like nice stuff. haha

Uhm yeah, that never happened. lol
The GV70 would be the pick.
Borrowed this pic from the 1st post and can guarantee wife would love it.
It has the bling and premium features and style, I already know what she would would like this car without ever knowing what it is or who makes it.

If you're considering the Rav4 for reliability and dependability, but want the style/luxury of the GV70, and for some reason don't want a Lexus.... Why not get the new Toyota Venza? It's quite nicer than the Rav4 with the same level of reliability and it's a hybrid.
The mid-level XLE Venza is a nice 5k cheaper than the GV70, and the fully loaded Limited trim is 42k, just under the base model GV70 which is 43k.

Seeing that Genesis is #2 in vehicle dependability behind Lexus as being #1 and Toyota coming in at #7, I am certain I would enjoy that in either car.
But yes, I will accept less reliability for a more enjoyable and sophisticated car.
