It does make you wonder about the future of the MKZ with the much higher volume Fusion gone. Last year they sold 19,852 (-28%) MKZ or about 1,650 per month. It seems like the future may not be too bright.

Here's hoping they'll always be a large soft sedan choice in the market. There shouldn't be a reason why we can't have at least one large Buick, Cadillac, and Lincoln sedan available.

The CT6 and Impala will be in production at least through end of this year. Unlike the Impala, though, the CT6's road manners are fairly stiff by the standards of this class.

I dont follow other manufacturers much but in the Toyota family, the Avalon will be next to go. I have seen maybe like 4 or 5 since its introduction and its monthly sales data isnt encouraging. On the Lexus front, GS, obviously.

Yes. I agree. Avalon will likely be gone. GS as well

I don't think the Avalon will go. Not because of the Avalon, but because of the ES. They're the same car now, so it costs almost nothing to keep the Avalon on the market. Would not take much sales volume at all to have it be profitable. The two of them combined are moving around 80k units/year, which is 12x what the GS does.

It just depends on where you live. I've seen plenty of Avalons and new ESs. Look at the sales figures, the car are doing fine.
