I didn't spend much time using the infotainment, but it was very responsive. It was much quicker than my Sensus. As for apps...I think there are some, but not sure.
I found this regarding scheduled maintenance....
Every Polestar 2 comes with free, scheduled maintenance for the first three years of ownership, or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first. Additional years or miles of scheduled maintenance can be purchased for 3 to 10 years from $603 to $2,668.
I don't know what maintenance is included, but guessing tire rotations, checking brakes, cabin filter etc.

As for the 233 mile range...It's fine for my roughly 70-75 mile daily commute.

Dropped of my Volvo S90 T8 yesterday.
Went into Manhattan this morning to pick up my Polestar 2.
While driving in Staten Island, some guy in a pick up pulls up next to me and says 'What's that? That's a nice car!' I replied, 'It's a Polestar 2'. He said oh I've heard of that.
I haven't seen any on the road yet, so somewhat exclusive, which I like.
I am really impressed with this vehicle.
Build quality is top notch.
I convinced one of my colleagues to get one. His is coming June 5th. He just got out of an S90 T6.

Congrats...i really like the car and i bet its pretty peppy. The EVs don't have a break in period so go pick on some ICEs Also, did you ever figure out why you need all that maintenance on the car? I think they're trying to scam money out of you as the other EV maintenance schedules are extremely light. If the maintenance is just inspections, i wouldn't bother.

Thanks!
1st scheduled maintenance is 2 years which is great.
Yeah...It's pretty peppy for sure.
Car and Driver and Motor Trend got 0-60 in 4.1 sec.
It has a nice tight ride and feels sporty.
Of course, anything will feel sporty coming from the large S90 T8, which was plenty fast.
Absolutely no need for the Performance Pack.
I used the physical brakes once today and I like the stock 19 inchers.

What range are you getting with the car?

I really like the Android interface the car uses. If the Polestar had 30% more range, I would consider it for the wife.

Really? Watched a few vids thought it was dreadful, slow and buggy. Tesla is so far ahead here it's not funny.

I never had a chance to use it. Just saw videos. I haven't even seen one in person yet. I'm happy there are options out there besides Tesla.

Very cool! Still trying to get one to try out. Do you have a level 2 charger at home? Not sure what you had used with your T8 prior.

I am waiting to have a nema 14-50 outlet (dryer outlet) installed in my garage.
My son's friend is an electrician. Hopefully this week.
I may get the ChargePoint Home Flex, which is currently backordered.

For now, I am using Charge Point level II in my town at the municipal building which gives me ~ 20 miles per hour and it's free.

As for the Android Automotive, I find it to be extremely responsive. I am noticing absolutely no lag.

I really love this car.

With my T8 I used a regular outlet and charged overnight everynight. It took ~ 7 hrs for 21 miles of range.

You can wait until next model year when they will offer single motor variants which is front wheel drive. It's supposed to boost mileage to 260.
You probably don't need the AWD in Ca.

For a family car we need it as we snowboard. At this point, its the Model Y for us if they offer the $10k tax rebate but Polestar would have been a good option if it had near 300 miles of range. Maybe they'll have a longer range version in the future. I actually haven't seen a Polestar around here but have seen a couple Mach Es. How are the sales doing for the Polestar 2?

I really can't comment on the sales. I really don't know.
I haven't seen any in NJ or NY since its release.
I have been stopped several times within the last week by people wondering what vehicle it is.
Having a car that you don't see very often on the road is a nice feeling.
As I said before, my buddy is getting his in a few days.
