Great to see Cadillac committed to their cars. Also, nice to see a relaxed styled type of luxury car without some stupid front end. 404HP

Actually, one of the things I find funny about the Caddy naming convention is that when I am behind an XT5, unless I'm directly behind it waiting at a red light, the nameplate still looks like it says XTS. Looks like this badging is the same font, so it's still going to look like it's named CTS from anything more than 2 car lengths.
Caddy has proven that it's pointless to get too excited about their new introductions until more in depth pix or road tests are out.

I really like the front end - it's the cleanest version yet of the Cadillac design theme. The roofline, however, is horrible especially the "C" pillar. I would be surprised if it is much smaller than the current CTS, so pretty much E Class or 5 Series size. I find it strange that according to the article, there is no NA V-6. The 550T badge for the 400 hp turbo V-6 still seems to be much overstating the performance capability of the car compared to other luxury cars.

A small FWD based CT3 sedan/hatch would be nice to round out the lineup.
Considering no pics of interior- im guessing there is no meaningful changes to tech or design. The interior is what needs the most attention.

No, I understand that the 550 at Cadillac is kinda - sorta the torque in Neuton-Meters, it just struck me how it might be compared to the E Class and 5 Series turbo V-8s based just on the number on the trunk lid. It feels deliberately deceptive.
