This thread is getting pretty deep with catastrophe and end of days, lol...I hope we all survive and the GS does to see a 5th gen, if not I'll be picking up a 16 or 17 F and hold for a long time.

I really like the GS-F out of all the F models. Drove a buddies IS-F I liked it but it's just not me. I like the RC-F too but rather a larger sedan like the GS-F.

I don't know if it'll actually be collectible? But that said, it's an awesome, very well-rounded car that delivers on the track and is great day to day. It'll also be more reliable than anything else in the segment. Since it's pretty pricey, I'd want to score a deal on a used one.

That’s my plan if they discontinue the GS-F or RC-F.

There is almost nothing special about the GS-F. It’s just a car.

who cares about the MSRP, it dropped in value and its a good time to look at one its probably not gonna drop much more. Its one of the best 5.0 NA V8s out there now and ever will be at this rate, and its a unicorn engine because its Japanese. The engine will last a long time unlike this turbocharged crap out there.

I'd still like to pick one up. Doubt I'd buy a new one, but you can get a 2-3 year old version for around $50k. To me, it's worth it.

I think it's definitely $50k material. You gets lots of goodies for that price. Carbon fiber interior trim, tons of power, unique gauges, the list goes on. On top of that, it's still a GS - so it could be kind of a sleeper if you don't get it in a bright color, etc.

Very tempting car.

The GSF's main problem is the price. It's way overpriced, that's why it gets no love. They are close to 90K new. Few people are going to pay that much for something that will get totally outperformed by a less or equally expensive car. (M3, RS3, RS5, C63 AMG) etc etc. Not to mention I find the car extremely ugly.

Agree on the price, but I think it's plenty powerful for the street, and most people won't push it anywhere near it's potential. And it will be far more reliable than any of the other choices.

We are in a time where most are obsessed with high HP numbers. The fact that you buy a 840HP Dodge Demon from the factory is actually amazing to me. My Supra is making low 8XXHP at the wheels and I have strangers that ask me about it's power level and are dissapointed it doesn't make 1000HP I usually laugh and respond back with a smart remark like how much power is your car making. I like the GS-F for what it is I will agree the price point is high for new but they are definitely a bargain used as they will outlast most cars in the same class.
