Discount parts monster
Hi, I recently purchased a 98 LS400 and am shopping for a few parts. I have called Discount Parts Monster but didn’t get an answer. I left my contact info but didn’tget a response. I sent them an email but didn’t receive a reply to that either.
Does anyone have experience with them? I’m a bit hesitant to place an order with them if they are impossible to contact should I need to.
Thanks,
Greg

I did order from them before. They were ahead of the curve and taxed PA customers like me way back in 2016, even though they are in FLA. I didn't order again from them so can't say how they are today.
I ended up using parts.com which was a compromise. still a good discount, and accurate. I was ordering something very specific--LS430 door handle caps, down to the color of my car, and the order was delivered without any problems. They have a network and the parts came from a Lexus dealer.
Because car parts aren't usually free shipping like amazon, what I do is I try to order more, up until the point where shipping goes up, then I back that last item out of the cart.
I'm pretty resolved that next time I will use Lexus OE rotors on my next brake job (my fronts are OE from the dealer who sold me my car used, rears I used coated Centrics myself). Because Japanese cars have rusty orange stripes where the pads do not contact the rotors, and OE masks this pretty well. Aftermarket coated rotors show the rusty orange stripe. If anyone knows of free shipping with discounted Lexus OE rotors, please share....shipping is almost a 20 spot each!
