Do you own any other Toyota products?
In my short time on this msg board, i've noticed that many of you have other toyotas.
I've seen some MR2s, other Lexus cars, Supras, etc.
So, if this applies to you, what other Toyotas do you have, and why do you like them?
I prefer the reliability factor, the style, and the way they feel to me; Toyotas fit me well, and i can get in any of mine and not fumble for controls. They've just got what i like in a car.
Speaking of which, between the wife and I, we have 4:
'93 MR2 turbo- my current favorite, this one receives most of the money and attention. Built engine, large turbo, stiff clutch, suspension and all. Built for an all around street car, can carve corners with the best of them, and is capable of mid 12 second 1/4 miles.
'88 MR2 supercharged- picked it up for a song. minor mods, NA cams, suspension, and exhaust. Feels like a go kart, kicks *** at autox, thinking of selling it and dropping to 3, it is a little rough around the edges.
'93 SC300 auto - my newest addition, all stock, future 2jz swap planned. It's a great daily car, awesome on my 35 minute drive to work! Doesn't have the harsh ride of the mr2s, but doesn't reward me with the torque rush of boost either. Overall, a superb car that'll only get better.
'03 Matrix XRS 6speed- My wife drives this one since we bought it new, owned it for 14 months and have 29k on it. An Injen intake lets everyone know when VVTL-i kicks in, otherwise it's stock as well. Very fun car, especially one that has as much utility as it does.
So, tell me about some of your other toyotas!

Yep - I love em too... Check my signature as well. The only non-Toyota product I currently own is my grandfather's 1979 Olds Cutlass Supreme - which is the car my 4 boys are leaning to drive on. And sadly we lost a beautiful Red 1994 Camry Coupe in primo condition to a curve and an inexperienced driver in Feb. I am currently negotiating for the MR2 / LS 400's mentioned in my sig.
Why? I would have to say overall build quality - and longterm value. Rock solid - minimal problems - good paint & quality interior. Not to mention funtional and fun to drive.
I have driven Toyota products for over 20 years and have never been more hooked on Lexus/Toyota. I think that speaks volumes.

Lovin' Toyotas here!
My family have had Toyotas since 1984, gone through about 4 of them...
* 84 Corolla, sold it 4 yrs later with 40000km on the clock
* 88 Tarago (minivan), sold it 11 yrs later with 260000km on the clock
* 99 Tarago (Previa), still have it w/ 100000km on the clock
* 93 Soarer (SC of course!), no plans on trading in and I've clocked 120000km
For me nothing comes close to the reliability of Toyotas.

Check my sig also ('96 ES, owned for 7 yrs, and '01 ES, current). My parents have a '01 Sienna, probably the best minivan I've ever driven, and it is almost too perfect in all respects. It's a great road trip car too

I own a 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser, and a 93 SC400. Both cars have Toyota reliability, along with powerful V8 engines. The styling and value just can't be beat. People who buy domestic cars fear the 100,000 mile mark. Not us Toyota/Lexus owners. The vehicles are just getting warmed up!
One of my first Toyota vehicles, was a 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser. One of the best cars I've ever owned. I loved fixing the thing up, and driving with the top off. The thing just made people happy. I couldn't stop for gas, without somebody coming up to me and telling me what a cool car it is, and that "back in the day" they used to ride around in one with their frends. I should have never sold it. Wish I had it in the garage as a 3rd vehicle for weekend play time.
