Not only that the Ford GTs 3.5 V6TT makes 647hp 550ft# hp while the Acura's 3.5V6TT makes 500hp 406 ft# (573 hp/476ft# total system). Very poor showing for a Acura's 3.5 V6TT
I totally disagree. I use to be obsess with big engines until I test drove a few Porsche's. A 3.5V6TT is fine if it can perform. Honda has the talent/engineer to make a V8 but that's not their interest.

and thats why honda has pretty much zero interest as a brand in the past 10 years. I would've laughed 10-15 years ago if I heard Lexus was going to have one of the best NA V8s and some of the best performing japanese cars, yet here we are, and here is where Honda isn't

Lexus V8 is great, I love V8's, it is nice they are still doing a NA V8 in a couple cars, very disappointing that the new LS has no 8 cylinder but there is no Lexus, even with a V8 that makes as much power or performs anywhere close to a NSX with its tt V6 nor are there any Lexus cars that have the tuning potential of the NSX. NSX is just on a whole other level performance wise with 0-60 in 2.9 to 3.1 seconds(few have gotten 2.7/2.8 sec) and quarter mile around 11.1 stock, with a VR tune for less then 2K it is down to 10.6 quarter mile and making close to 700hp with no problems reported so far. Can't argue how impressive that is and the NSX is a great handling car too.

I still wish Honda/Acura would do a V8 or V10 for the NSX or a sedan, they should have done one a long time ago but the performance of the NSX with its tt V6 is still crazy and can't be denied, especially now that you can get 20K off of it.

I saw my very first one the other day, orange and it looked a lot better than in the pictures. I wouldn't trade in my car for it though.

LC F is getting closer. But its mission is still different than the NSX.

Very curious to see how the new C8 stacks up against the NSX, Ford GT, F8 Tributo, Huracan, 570S, and whatever else mid-engine you want to throw in there.

OK, it might be fun, for a little, while to do some canyon-carving with it (though most roads in Florida are probably a flat as a pancake and/or quite straight). But, for most purposes, most of the time, your G90 probably makes a heck of a lot better daily driver. For one thing, it's probably difficult to relax at the end of a hard working day in something like an NSX....where your G90 would cradle you with comfort and isolation.

Well, you were the one who mentioned owning an NSX if priorities were different. I was only giving my opinion on the NSX and G90 as daily drivers....and, with all due respect, I stand by what I said, and see no need to change it.

Just for the record, BTW, I myself will strongly consider a Genesis sedan next time around, but more likely the G80 rather than G90.....the 90 is more than I care to spend on a car.

LOL

I think that the NSX would be in addition to G90 not a replacement.
Also sometimes a blast in a sports car is much more rejuvenating after a long day then a relaxing drive in a luxury car.
NSX is OK to me

Yes, I agree it probably would make more sense as a second car, not a daily driver.

Not many CL members I know of have actually owned an NSX. A member named Doc (I think Doc C) had one a number of years ago, and (I'll stand corrected if I am wrong) I think Henry (Rominl) also did.

There are a couple CL members that have had the older NSX, at least 2 that have the new NSX. The new NSX is one of the most comfortable mid engined super cars out, it does not beat you up being a daily driver though getting in and out is a little more difficult since it sits so low to the ground.
