Again you’re missing the point.
Cadillac is targeting these cars to who? Probably current owners of European brands like BMW.
Nobody cares about a launch edition of a vehicle that has no history or relevance - it’s worthless.
Their focus should be on attracting real buyers not on gimmicky marketing with a dumb plaque, enthusiast buyers see right through that. Also try dealing with Cadillac dealers to buy performance car - not great experience.

Same way it doesn't matter that the Mustang Mach E may not "kill Tesla" and win over Tesla buyers or even win over current Mustang owners, they have tons of enthusiasm from existing Ford owners that I've seen first hand.

If their goal is not to win new buyers then why create these cars in the first place?!
Previous gen CTS-V and ATS-V were sales disasters. I’m sure Cadillac wants greater success than only convert the few buyers that purchased the last gen cars lol
Again this is purely Marketing fail - they did amazing job with C8 launch and hopefully we see some exciting info when these cars launch in few days.
I’m all for performance sedans but have little faith in GM/Cadillac.

CT-5 Blackwing will have 668-hp and 659 pound-feet of torque from supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 and come standard with 6-speed Manual.
I will give Cadillac credit for following through on these performance cars and especially the manual transmission. I’m sure it was a huge battle for the engineers to get these through especially when everything is going EV.

I leased an ATS-V sedan for 24mos. Amazing driving car. Combined the acceleration of old LS1 camaro with the steering feel of my 2007 STI and had handling for days. Sublime steering, too.
The CT4 & CT5 BWs interiors improve on the ATS & CTS, too, with physical buttons and *****. I actually liked my Caddy's interior and infotainment system.
I can't get into a CT4-V BW or the CT5, this year, but if I can in the next couple years, I will gladly buy a CT4-V BW new. (yeah, the ATS-V was that good, IMO.)
