Do you smell your new parts? why?
stupid question but I figure it would be good satire from the norm. Im actually asking this is other Forums as well.
when you get new (factory sealed not "new to you" used) parts and gawk over how much you spent.
ever just take a second to smell the parts?
what do you get from that? why do you feel its important when its YOUR car?
I found myself doing this when some of my RR-racing parts came in. and i kinda just had a moment of clarity that went "damn, I do this EVERYTIME i get new (factory sealed) parts".
To me, its the satisfaction that, its never been used, and I get to enjoy the part in its purest form before it gets put thru a ringer.
Or am I alone here?
