Talking My OTHER car

Hmmm, ever since I got my GS430 back in late winter...I've been neglecting my other car, my '98 Eclipse GSX...why? Ever since I put on my new setup (bigger turbo, HKS camshafts, better flowing head, intake manifold, and throttle body.)....it was fast...but wasn't fast enough....I went from a 12.510@108mph to a 12.50@110mph...no matter what I did, it just would not go any faster...I should be in the 117-120mph trap speed range.

So anyways, fast forward to this past weekend..my roommate was driving my car...since he doesn't have a car at the moment...and needs a car to get around...and he was working on his AE86...well, my car kept stalling out for some reason....it always did, I attributed it to the camshafts...but get this, there were two threaded holes on the compressor housing...I always thought they were for wastegate brackets....and nothing more...WRONG!!!! They were for a boost source! So ever since I put on the new setup back last fall...I've been running with two HUGE boost leaks

Anyways, plugged the holes up...and god damn!!!! The car is a beast now I'm eagerly awaiting the next time I can get out to the track....11 second quarter mile, here I come

Hahaha, good job. I take it you did all the installs yourself? I was thinking, with all that and only 12.5 quarters, you gotta be doing something wrong. When are you taking it to the track?

Took it to the track tonite

Here's my best run...12.41@110mph...sorry about the lack of zooming...my digital camera can't zoom while recording....well, looks like I still need more tuning for quarter mile...but on the highway, it feels like a monster...
