Useful comparison info for vehicles in each category (USNews)
came across this example page and related ones there for all the categories of vehicles and i think it’s a nice simple format with links into full details, and easy to navigate

Doubtful. CR has called the current S-class the best-riding sedan that they have ever sampled.
I do agree, though, having reviewed one, that IMO a lot of people underestimate the RLX, perhaps because of its low sales. I liked its road manners very much....though it lacks some of the iron-anvil-build construction that the previous 2Gen RL had. And the SH-AWD that was formerly standard is now an option, though the base RLX does come with four-wheel-steering.

I just looked at the listings and unless I'm reading them wrong, they list the RLX last at #10 in Large Luxury Cars and the S Class #1 in Super Luxury Cars. That seems about right.

Understandable. My first thought if someone said "Super Luxury Cars" would be something like a Maybach or Bentley, not a plebian S 550.

The LS is pretty "super".
I do like that website though. Since they combine info from lots of other websites, I tend to feel they would be more consistent than if one were to just exclusively read Motor Trend for instance.
