If you want to get nostalgic about that, then sure, go ahead.

If you ever have a hard to time wondering why many people will never give GM a shot. Those GM cars from that era and then the cars from 1990s are the reason why.

GM cars are pretty cool from that era. They did break all the time. Toyota and Honda still had a hard time matching designs at the time.

6:26 spinning around. Crazy burnouts at the conclusion.

One of my favorite cars ever.

I think my favorite RCR videos are the ones of the more esoteric vehicles, like the campers and military vehicles and such. Oddly, those videos also have the least amount of "insensitive" humor.

Though good ol' Harold Slovinsky is also a good time in the few videos he appears.

is the driver in those videos the person who does the narration? i've not seen videos where there's no voice of person on camera. it's just all voice over after.

In the review-buisness, Alex symbolizes quality.......not necessarily quantity. ;

If you ever have a hard to time wondering why many people will never give GM a shot. Those GM cars from that era and then the cars from 1990s are the reason why.
The 1990s-era GM vehicles were (somewhat) better than the 80s-era, although the interiors s**cked from a lot of cheap dime-store materials, and some parts would work loose or break. But the powertrains weren't as bad, and, by then, electronic fuel-injection had (finally) replaced the troublesome carburetors. One reason the vehicles improved, of course, is that Roger Smith was replaced by Robert Stempel, who had been an engineer...he helped design the original 1966 FWD Olds Toronado and Cadillac Eldorado.

GM cars are pretty cool from that era. They did break all the time. Toyota and Honda still had a hard time matching designs at the time.
Back then, with a couple of exceptions such as the Toyota Cressida, Honda and Toyota, at least in the American market, did not sell upscale products. That changed, of course, when Acura and Lexus were introduced.

One of my favorite cars ever.
Yes, the Roadmaster was a Magic-Carpet to ride in (reminded me of my old Electra 225), but its handling was atrocious even by my conservative, luxury-oriented standards. I had to very careful with it when I did a test-drive, back in the early 90s (before I joined CL) It rolled and plowed like a beach-ball on turns, and if you weren't on your toes, you could get into trouble on a sharp corner and too much speed. Of course, being a careful and experienced driver, I don't exceed vehicle's limits, but the handling-limits on this car, nevertheless, were very low.

I think Mr. Regular was trying to hide his face/identity for a few years. Now he appears on camera fairly often.
