I will give Acura the benefit of the doubt
So long as it has SH-AWD and north of 350hp it should be a hoot.
“The Type S Concept sets the stage for re-introducing Type S performance variants to the Acura line-up after a decade hiatus, and will heavily influence the character of the upcoming, second-generation TLX Type S.”

Excellent design! With the exception of the pointy rear, the overall body shape hits the right spot and the greenhouse is just about perfect. The Ford Mustang-esque c-pillar kink is what Lexus and the others should have incorporated long ago- very sporty but not intrusive to visibility.
What I don't like is Acura's new "crying eyes" lighting front and back. Already seen on the facelifted ILX, and now spreading. The lighted, down-turned point looks sad, droopy, and harsh.
Look forward to seeing the final product.

interesting design tricks they used compared to the current TLX.
The window sill slopes up toward the A pillar, so they can give the illusion of a pushed back A pillar, but it's actually not, so headroom doesn't look compromised.
On the current TLX, the belt line slopes downward so far that the door gap ends up being so close to the front wheel, giving it a cheap FWD look.
That front overhang is extra long though.

Easily CG. Check out some of Autodesk's automotive design products. That thing looks like it was made with a bunch of Autodesk products.
Sick looking car though.
Too bad Acura is now in decline. Their dealerships are largely empty of customers here in Canada. It used to be that the name exuded youth, performance, quality, and vigor. Now they're somewhat obscure.
Here in Canada I regularly see the 1.6 EL's from the late 90's on the road, original motor and all.
