wife bought a 2019 BMW 430i Gran Coupe....
MSRP $49500, purchase price $32577 = $16923 off MSRP
They had this car a while, build date was 9/2018
Thoughts on deal?? I thought it was a crazy good deal -- never dealt with a new BMW purchase before. End of the month helped too.
They were willing to lease the car for $282/mo with her trade only down for 36mos which I thought was crazy. She put down $10K and financed the balance @2.99
Convenience package plus heated steering wheel, Mineral white. Standard with navigation.
Her 2010 Audi A5 needed quite a few repairs - steering rack (probably from a previous major accident) was making terrible noise/feel (I was quoted $1500 to swap/fix it) engine mounts, thermostat housing leaks, small oil leaks, upper and lower control arms. Car had 85K miles. Gave her $6000 which not great but she had already got a $7400 reduced residual value claim check from the accident a few years ago.

Regardless, that's an amazing deal. Congrats to the wife on a great car.

Let me echo the congrats on the new GC. Great price too.
A few weeks ago I bought a new 2919 5 Series. Got a pretty good price on it but nowhere near what you got.

Congratulations. Quite a deal. Also glad to see you and her go with a sedan or coupe, rather than help feed the never-ending SUV craze.
Sorry to hear that your A5 had so many problems, even at that mileage. The A5/S5, though, is a beautiful design....one of the best-looking coupes on the market.

Crazy deals can be had on BMWs, which is why there are so many of them driving around. With loyalty, OL code and some MSDs, you probably could have leased it for close to $200 a month! This or.a Toyota Corolla.... 🤔🤔🤔

Nice! So bagwell, how did the deal go, did they offer that or she had to haggle back and forth? Did she offer even lower than that and that’s where they came to in the end?
either way i really like the 4GC!!!
pics please.

congrats on the car and killer deal, but i lost interest once i saw gran coupe, and i feel like that probably contributed to the car still being there for so long... the regular 4 series is one of the best looking cars on sale though

Wouldn't these super low lease deals start devaluing BMW cars on the used market kind of like how fleet sales hurt resale of certain brands/models. Still surprised BMW's can price their cars so high but also have such low lease deals, at least on the 4 cyl models.
