My 2003 CRV finally died. I’ve wanted an NX for a few years now.
Any advice on this would be much appreciated:
I am test driving a Pre-owned 2019 NX Comfort (FWD, sunroof) tomorrow. It has 5k miles and is listed $33,800.
I always assumed you pay what is listed until I started reading this forum.
Is the price reasonable? If not, how do I approach negotiating?
Edit: Would it be better to get a “new” 2019 or 2020?
Thank you!

Welcome to CL as a first-time poster. ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
There are many variables involved in negotiating the price of a pre-owned vehicle. One of the best sites for help is kbb.com (Kelley Blue-Book). Just follow the steps, enter the data they ask for (type of vehicle, make/model/year, trim-level, accumulated-mileage, general condition, etc.... and it will give you the average price you can expect to pay at a dealership, buying from private-party, or its trade-in value.

I did some checking on the site for you, and, I though I don't know the exact model type or option-level your vehicles has, the average price is from 32K to 36K depending on where you buy it, so, yes, the figure you quote seems reasonable.

We have a dedicated NX forum, along with a huge thread on how much someone has paid:
Given that it's pre-owned and '19 should be clearing out for '20, definitely expect some discount.

Everything is negotiable, even fixed pricing. New or used, you should try your best to bargain down. Go to Edmunds.com and see what others are getting their for. The NX has been out for some time, so it is NOT a hot model bringing in top dollar. Go for it!
