Default 2001 is300 2jz vvti to non vvti

I'm new to this sit so help if I'm in the wrong place. I bought a clean is300 for $400 it has alot of miles on it. I found a guy on Facebook that delivered a non vvti motor with very low miles. I wasn't here when dropped off. My question is can I somehow use my harness for my vvti motor for the new non vvti bc the vvti has coil packs while the non vvti is dist. Or can I swap heads and put the vvti head on the non vvti motor

That car looks really nice.

I don't know the first thing about the 1st-gen IS's powertrain, but you might be able to find someone who does in the IS - 1st Gen forums, here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...2001-2005-166/
