80k miles? Kia/Genesis warranty should only last 100k, is it not?

Yes, that's on the drivetrain....but many manufacturer's warranties have disclaimers. First, they often don't cover taxi or commercial use. Second, Korean warranties (Hyundai/Kia/Genesis) cover the full 10/100 only on original owners. Outside of the person's immediate family (father, mother, sister, bother) they are NOT transferable.......the 10/100 reverts to 5/50, even on on the drivetrain. Don't ask me why (I don't know) but the Korean automakers have had that family-only policy for years.

It's how much car you are getting for the price, it is a flagship luxury sedan and not that old. Compare it to other vehicles you get brand new for that price. As long as you don't plan on selling it in a few years and plan on keeping it for a while, most of the depreciation hit has already been taken.

It never was. Sorry if I didn't make that clear. The 10/100 was for the drivetrain, and the 5/60 B2B.
Hyundai used to have the 10/100 part transferable to immediate-family members. That has now been changed. They apparently (now) transfer the 10/100 drivetrain part outside of the immediate family, but not the 5/60 B2B part. Go Figure.
