As many of you are aware, you can see service history from all Lexus dealers on the Lexus owners/drivers website if you create an account. I use this feature all the time when looking for a used Lexus. This, along with the vehicle specifications page where you can see all options attached to the VIN# entered, is a huge help when buying a used Lexus. Far better than CARFAX or Autocheck in my opinion. Anyways, I'm constantly looking for a good used Lexus to buy. The LS and LX are always on my radar. The other day, I found a beautiful 2007 LS460L with the rare Ultra Luxury package including the Pre-Collision system. The car looked immaculate in the photos, so I reached out to the owner via text. What started out as a promising conversation quickly turned south once the owner sent me screenshots of the CARFAX report. The CARFAX wasn't bad itself, but I was able to get the VIN# from the CARFAX and used that to gain critical information via the Lexus Driver site. It turns out the owner had recently bought the car. I'm assuming he bought the car without having it inspected, and then once it was inspected, realized he bought a nightmare and decided to unload it.
