Correct--the internet is great to look things up when you don't remember...

I agree that the 'Vette was a no-brainer for COTY, but, for SUV, it could have been a multi-toss-up between the Telluride/Palisade, Escape, Aviator, and Corsair. I would have probably (narrowly) given it to the Corsair....though I know that a lot of people are probably more impressed with the Aviator.

The Corvette is absolutely not a fantasy car, its attainability is part of what makes it so exciting.
Its an enthusiast magazine...not a consumers magazine. Do people sit there and drool over cars they can't afford? Are you a car enthusiast? Did you have posters of cars in your room when you were a kid? What did you have posters of, certified pre-owned Hyundai Elantras?!? Did you sit there at night and say "hmm, what a sensible purchase that will be"
I can't believe you're even asking this question LOL
Its Motor Trend, not Consumer Reports or Budget Wheels Monthly

But you have to look at history with these mags. They used to review a hefty chunk of every-day cars and trucks. At least half that, half the exotics. That type of selection covers interests for everyone- the enthusiast and the every-day buyer. But like with this last issue, the ENTIRE thing was all exotics or cars/suv's most people are never going to touch. That was my point. It's swung too far to that side.
I can't remember which magazine but the comparison test I read before that was about mainstream crossovers costing 45-50k.
Not sure where you're getting this.
So what if they dedicate one issue to exotic cars we can't afford.
