To me what makes Tesla special is not the part that’s an EV. It offers a truly great driving experience that is unique and sporty. The tech in the cars - cameras, NAV, autopilot is more advanced than any other automaker.
This post will cause salt but it's all true.

ok EZZ, this thread isn't about tesla performance or even cost of ownership.

recap: OP has been a loyal toyota/lexus owner and now wants a tesla model y when they're available.

Congratulations. You certainly have a unique vehicle. Very rare. They appear up in Canada from time to time. Never seen one in New York State. In Canada, if you work in the mining industry, you can actually acquire special exemption status and purchase brand new 70 series Land Cruiser trucks from Toyota Japan.

What do you do for parts? Toyota made these models until 2001 (I think)

I've deleted five religious-style posts about EV emissions. Final reminder on the thread topic: OP is a longtime Toyota owner, who just bought a classic FJ, but will likely be going electric eventually.

Loved the 80's and 90's Toyota truck front ends with "TOYOTA" written across the front grill. They look like they really mean business.

Did you know Toyota brought It back to all of their body on frame trucks and SUVs depending on trim level? I love it! I remember when all the car had TOYOTA too, not just the trucks.
