Default 2021 Tahoe and Suburban revealed-C&D

I will admit a slight bias as I have an old one of these but I think it looks great; click the article as it shows several.

Can't wait to see Yukon and Escalade and interior pics.

Dealers won't be able to keep these on lots around here.

Here's more:

Column shifter is now dead, I would miss it, but I get it. GM always got those right.

Grille definitely looks better than the one on the latest Silverados.

It will interesting to see how much, if any, the conversion to the rear IRS will affect hauling and towing capacity. That is one of the major reasons people buy Suburbans....to be not only people-movers but big work-horses as well.

GM, though, did the proper thing by keeping the V8s under the hood....at a time when Ford converted the Expedition to an Ecoboost turbo V6. It's about time GM's management did something right......after a long string of recent disasters.

Agree with all of this so I'm not going to bold anything. Wondering if this IRS was the right move or not all things considered. Dropping the diesel in there was a smart move, too.

The big win for the 'burban is IRS IMO. The interior looks ok, I've seen far worse from Chevy. Another interesting bit is the optional 3.0 turbodiesel. 5.3L V8 standard. Optional 6.2L V8 just like last generation. VERY curious to see the new Escalade, as the Navigator set the bar high.

It looks they took the Acadia's horizontal row of shift buttons, turned it vertical, and put in somewhat larger buttons. Unfortunately, IMO, that's was of the Acadia's worst features.

That's a much better interior shot. Looks great. I would miss the column shifter though lol but it's dead and I'm being nostalgic.

The engines were fine, no need to do anything. The 6.2 is by far the best engine to have in this segment IMO.

And yes I bet the Yukon and Denali interiors are even better and the Escalade I'm sure will be amazing. The last one was pretty darn good.

Boring dated styling with typical Chevy interior.
The steering wheel design and small Nav screen are horrible.

I hope this rendering is wrong because if it isn't this doesn't look half as good as the current Escalade. Does not have nearly the same road presence IMO.

Lost too much bling and chrome on the outside, IMO. Bling is the very definition of an Escalade......what sells it. We'll have to wait for an interior shot, though....I couldn't find one, but I'll post it if I do.
