A recent blog talked about why SUV's were not a good model choice. Yet they are the most popular model on the road. Is this just one bloggers opinion or do others share this view? vejaay

A little of both. His (or her) opinion was probably stronger than that of most vehicle-buyers today, but is by no means alone. I share part of that opinion myself....that people today who like sedans are being virtually ignored. That policy recently cost GM over two billion dollars when they announced the closing of several sedan-related plants, getting them into serious trouble politically, and triggering the longest and most crippling UAW strike in 50 years. It was a strike that was well-deserved.
(In fairness, though, GM does deserve at least some credit, for one (or should I say two) exceptions to its SUV-heavy policy. Cadillac is introducing two new sedans...the CT5 and CT4.
