The shifter can "stow" away to open up a flat work space for laptops, etc. But I wonder how quick that will jam up due to debris, crumbs etc being caught in the mechanism.
Available Max Recline front seats can also go into a sleeper mode, reclining to nearly 180 degrees, and lifts the seat bottom up to be flush with the seat back.

The new hybrid EcoBoost adds a 47-horsepower electric motor to the 10-speed gearbox, which should put the new model over the 400 horsepower number. It’ll have a tiny 1.5 kWh battery onboard, which recharges with regenerative braking. Ford says the hybrid system won’t be affected by extreme temperatures, or heavy loads.
Overall
I`m liking the
-Power generation for tools
-Work focused features
-infotainment and instrumentation upgrades
Evolutionary rather the revolutionary changes to the best selling vehicle in the world

interior is improved still isnt as good as Ram. It looks like a bunch of squares for the interior. So they made the shifter power folding so you can use the flattop console for work? Added complexity when they couldve used an electronic shifter to free up space

I like it, As for the shifter, a lot of truck customers don't like electronic shifters. As fir the wide console, its for storage and work. A lot of people store laptops and large clipboards and things of that nature in the console, so it needs to be wide,
I was in a buddy's new Ram LongHorn the other day...its incredibly nice,
