I hate the current NX. Everytime I see it. This will be just as crap IMO.

Well that I knew, but the outside styling doesn't have to necessarily do with the platforms. I was commenting that it has more of a rounded look of the Venza rear end, versus the boxy shape of the Rav4

Honestly I did not expect anything better. Lexus is so dire that what kept hope alive was this rumor of new NX being the beacon of some new direction for the brand. Bollocks. Never believed that to be the case honestly, just like how ES can never set the precedent for the brand neither can NX. These vehicles have to conform to Toyota first Lexus second when it comes to their development. I do believe this NX will bring out new infotainment but the interior as a whole again will be nothing spectacular due to economic reasons. Bottom line is this looks like a CX-5 and the gap between it and X3/GLC is going to grow even bigger. Pretty soon they will not be considered the same market despite the fact that sizing is similar.
