Whatever it's going to be called, better late than never and if they wander too far away from the concept vs what gets delivered... that's going to be important. What the 5LS concept looked like vs what actually ended up being the LS500...

After looking recently at the mb gle and gls, it's hard to imagine what lexus can do with a midsize or even large lq that will make anyone go 'wow' but hope they do!

Its tough, add the X5 and X7 in there, they’re actually nicer inside than the MB vehicles IMHO.

The other thing is both of those vehicles are actually a good value.

The competitors have really left Lexus behind...

There is no such thing as a Lexus LQ, simply hearsay. Time will reveal this...

Do you see anything in the product planning that could resemble what we believe is the LQ? The posts I've seen from you regarding future products seem to turn out to be true and I think you said you are generally aware of these things for work (IIRC).

From what I have seen and read about the LQ, I’m looking forward to seeing it.

There is a production LF-1 coming, but it is not called LQ.

Poor leadership. To me, with the bigger SUVs, and even in some areas across the board, they decided to take a break from innovating and just cash in on the current product. Short term gain that doesn't pay off in the long haul. Better late than never isn't always true.

I see this LQ as a direct competitor to X7 and GLS.

Please get it right.

I'm sure things will change (not necc that) in the next 2 years. We really don't know that much about it yet, honestly.

For some reason not allowed to like posts...
I think the term r/whoosh comes to mind lol, because many here yammered on about fictional TX 350 and TX 460 religiously and look how that turned out years later? Nada, GX 460 is still here. Old *** TX trademark dead the past 3 years.

All too amusing. Incorrigibility is an interesting thing. People will be people. No Lexus new model surfaces without a full length trademark, which LF-1 doesn't have yet.

Dumb LQ rumors keep coming from stupid media reading into Toyo trademarks the wrong way and this site's Curated-whatever is doing no better with its own fluff-laden blog pieces.

LQ is just a Toyota lol, like iQ. Toyota has never for one day confirmed their production LF-1 under 650B Program to be LQ, yet Western media blindly insists, as well as blogs and forums. Time will say it all...
