Cost savings right there. That's $10K less than the Supra and on top of it most likely will come with a 6 speed manual, something you cannot have in the Supra.
I highly doubt that, hardly any new car starts at 40K even a base Camry starts at nearly 36K. A performance coupe like a Z will start in the low 50's.

A base Camry starts at $24,425. With a few options most will be $30K. The V6 starts at $31,170

I meant Base V6 I'm using MSRP numbers from the website and a car like a Z will be marked up like the Supra was at first.

The cheapest Camry V6 is the TRD at $31,170. Anything remotely close to your $36K figure is the XSE V6 at $35,130. These numbers are Toyota.com.

That's what I was going off of. I thought that was a base V6 Camry

Where are you getting these numbers?

Most new cars start well under $40K.

A base Camry starts at $24,425, base Accord is about the same price, even a Toyota Avalon starts at 35K.

In May of 2019, the average price of a new car purchased in the U.S. climbed to $36,718, with interest rates hovering around 6%, according to automotive information site Edmunds. That's up from $35,742 in 2018, which was already a 2% increase from 2017, according to Kelley Blue Book.

That's not well under 40K , that's almost 40 K for the average price of a new car when you add in taxes and fees.

You've never been good with numbers, eh? Let's just leave at that.

Default Latest Z Rendering

Rumour has it the next Z will initially come out with 2 tunes based on the 3L twin turbo V6: 300 hp and 400 hp.

That looks a little better then some of the concepts/renditions I have seen, they need to make it a little longer and more sleek, that chunky compressed look does not look good on sports cars/370Z.

I'm guessing the 300 hp version is to compete with the Supra's 2L inline 4. And the 400 hp version is to compete with the Supra's 3L inline 6 version.

Renderings by Japanese car magazines are usually not that accurate c/o to eventual product ...
