Isn’t Nissan on verge of Bankruptcy especially with all the Ghosn drama.
Don’t have much faith in their products.

If this a go, design should have been frozen already and test vehicles running around. Pretty silent thus far

On sale in this iteration since 2009. Yikes

What are they going to pit this Z against? Supra? Cayman?

It would be awesome if they did but I highly doubt it.
Nissan is on the verge of bankruptcy and I’m sure Japanese govt will need to bail them out.

With this economy- who will buy a 2 seat coupe for $50-60k that’s probably not nearly as good as the Zupra due to BMW engine/trans.

One thing is for sure- if poor sales and funding didn't kill Infiniti before, the virus will finish the job.

Nissan is such a hot mess right now that I don't see how they will come away from this without serious cuts and consequences. Making sports cars that there's no demand for when they're at death's door doesn't seem like the smartest move.

It's likely the next Z will start in the $40K range. Why $40k? The engine is borrowed from the Infiniti Q50/60 Red Sport 400 and the chassis may be a retuned/revised/updated version of the 370Z chassis if they choose to forego a new chassis. Cost savings right there. That's $10K less than the Supra and on top of it most likely will come with a 6 speed manual, something you cannot have in the Supra.

nissan trying to stop loss.

infiniti selling poorly, and they're probably not going to dedicate resources to an ultra low volume seller like the Z
