Me too, though it's not whining. Nothing wrong with dry humor or being cynical when it's indicated.. He hates the direction autos are heading, just about word for word like I would/do.

Different strokes-- I know it's not rocket science but it's neat how we are all different. Bill is, by far, my favorite. Totally dry, my sense of humor. Talks about where to stash guns. He knows a hell of a lot about the cars he reviews, too. What y'all think is "rambling" I think as "bytching" and he's not wrong the vast majority of the time. He hates the way things are right now, it's fun to listen to him preach to the choir. He even has a nice voice, lol definite used car salesman smoker's voice but it's pleasant. Doug I can barely even stomach.

I agree with you about Doug. He finds some pretty interesting vehicles but overall he's obnoxious.

Yep. I don't think he knows cars very well like he likes to make it out to be, but this has been beaten to death. The old 1980s RR/Bentley sedans' front windows didn't roll quite all the way down, just by (crappy) design which he had no clue about. It wasn't a quirk, it was a stupid design. He thinks a 1990 LS400 is slow compared to today, wow really?. He gushes over an $85,000 Land Cruiser, but spend 5 more grand for all that plus flagship Lexus luxury LX570: stupid and unnecessary. But this has been beaten to death. Once you drive an LX if you're that certain kind of person you won't want anything else. Bill is my guy.

Or where to stash the blow, lmao. Hope he doesn't do that because felony drug charge with a gun, bye bye for a long long time. But I'm sure it's just for our entertainment, I love his humor.

He has gotten way off the rails with all of that. I used to really enjoy his videos, but they've gotten about 20-25 min too long and that comes from his ramblings. Its one thing for a acerbic line here or there, but he goes off for damn near 20 minutes...I just fast forward through it.

Scotty has gotten redundant. I would only listen to his videos if he were reviewing one that a customer brought over, but even that gets old.

I could talk about late 90s to early 2000s luxury cars for hours, but I own one so that's why. But I will always think that was the Golden Era for them when people bought shytloads of them when they were still a thing, right or wrong. I mean they used to sell over 20k LS430s, and I'm sure nearly or as much or more 400s before that. That's a lot of expensive luxury cars. And that's just Lexus, people bought the competition too.

It's a shame I was too young to buy any of these cars brand new. Now the only new luxury cars out there feature over-the-top designs, screens everywhere, driver aids that I don't want, sporty suspensions, turbo 4-cylinder engines with deactivation systems, and bunker windows.
How I wish some of these manufacturers would re-create some of these brand new, exactly how they rolled off the assembly line, so people like me have a chance at buying them brand new and not having to settle at the used market. Lol

Bill's silly ramblings are an obvious attempt to cash in on a certain "political side" of YouTube since that's what's gotten him the views and subscribers. Watch any of his videos prior to 2021 and they're a lot less pandering.
The man really knows his car history though, far more than most other YouTubers. That historical context is what used to make his videos stand out.
