1. The LS is in its last year of the current design and sales are always slower in this last year.
2. How do TOTAL LS/Lexus U.S. Sales compare to E/MB? (Not % increase/decrease)

M/B usual reliability woes

I'm not a basher because I think M/Bs are nice looking vehicles (especially that E55).

Why are so many of them so tough on Lexus owners? Is it because we only go to the shop for scheduled maintinence, while they have thier calls and mail forwaded to the service area waiting room?

I was thinking about a 00 E 320 at one point, and they all just have poor reliability. I think Cadillac was above M/B on the problems per 100 cars index!!!

What do you all think, is reliability one of the benefits of a expensive car or should you just accept a 60-130k vehicle that doesnt work because it has "passion"?

BTW, my car stalled on me this morning and would not start.. MB is getting it towed 50 miles to get it looked at. I am on here because I am waiting for my loaner vehicle to arrive and them to take my car.

While i'm not a big fan of people doing lexus bashing, you have fallen into the "trap" of being brought to the level of the bashers by becoming bashers yourselves. I don't approve of these cross forum posts very much because of the trouble they bring.

Many are cool there, some have no ******* clue I am amazed their bigotness and short-sightedness let them gain enough wealth for a Benz. I like Benz, especially AMG models.

Well we have some pretty short sighted people on this board as well. I'm sure many of the members in MB forum are young kids that own a MB only because their parents wouldn't let them drive anything else. Lets be TRUE lexus owners and show them why bought our Lexus' by not slandering them or their vehicles..

MB makes some very impressive and nice looking cars but they don't have the quality and reliability to back up its name that had been the symbol of luxury cars for pretty much the whole century. I think some MB owners can't accept the fact that those MBs are not as reliable and good-quality like how they used to be in the early 90's and before that. Older 80's Benz's are holding up better than the new 2000+ MBs.

But I'll still take MB over BMW
