You must not be familiar with Prior Design. They do High end body kits and tuning. Their body kits start at $6000.
You are right I am not familiar. Seems like consensus in the community is that the bumper itself would cost around $2k. So my original thought was correct, just didn't include paint and installation. That's still only a couple hundred bucks though.
That third-party grille won't work any new 4 Series that has the ACC radar sensor mounted right in the nostril, or the parking sensors and front cameras. Messing with those electronics by retrofitting a new grille is the perfect way to void the warranty.
Is it really that expensive/hard to make one giant ugly grill just for the Chinese market and do something different/much more subtle for other markets to spare the rest of the world these monstrosities?
I have a sneaking suspicion that Mainland China also considers that grille hideous lol.

Changing a bumper is not a big deal.
its like denying warranty for aftermarket exhaust.
There are ton of BMWs running tunes, dealers are not denying warranty unless they have serious issues.
So just took my car for service and finally saw the 4series base non-Msport coupe.
It is VERY bad in real life! I feel bad for the sales ppl there - they were trying to say that BMW is going back to its roots with the huge grill. 😂

Rear looks like Lexus IS with RC tails...
Yeah it may take me a while to get on board with that grille. At least the base model's bumper doesn't have that smile effect of the M-Sport front bumper.
