Has the regular TLX ever summer tires?

I agree the typical TLX buyer isn't likely to have two sets of tires. As I read it I don't think C&D was advocating that at all. They gave the rational for the all season tires and said they were anxious for the V6 with Pirelli P Zero's which seems reasonable.

Those comparison reviews are beyond pathetic. Comments are disabled for a reason. Every time he walks to the Acura they use the same “Now this is what a sports sedan should look like “ footage. This car is a flop, slow, way too big , over priced and somehow smaller inside even though it’s enormous outside. Pathetic

Still predicting it's DOA.
Some nails in the coffin:
- too heavy
- not class leading in any way
- not a value winner
- hideous interior
- shawd is impressive, but it's still mostly a fwd car
- not an SUV

Speaking of value, the configurator is online:
https://www.acura.com/build-price/tlx?modelYear=2021
So adding on the Advance Package, SH-AWD, red paint, the black wheels, and zero accessories this is what I got:
For giggles, here's the Genesis G70 3.3T AWD with the Prestige Package:
I would love to have attended the Honda board meeting that came up with this pricing.

^^^^ In the videos, he does sound like an Acura salesman, but, on the other hand, he also makes some good points. The Germans traditionally don't give you as much for your money as Japanese brands do. To get an equivalent product (if possible) one often has to pay more.
I would also agree with Motorola that the G70 would be an interesting comparison, except for its Munchkin rear seat.

Hah, here's a loaded up 330i xDrive that's got everything except the M-Sport package. The TLX is hardly a bargain, and it's missing a lot of the available features in the 330i too.

Summer tires should be in an optional package on the Type S only. But that doesn't mean they can't put a competent all-season in the Advance package. If they wanted to stick with Michelin, that would mean something like the Pilot Sport A/S 3+, but the Continental ExtremeContact DWS would also be an excellent choice. Not on the base model, just the Advance with the upgraded wheel/tire package.
I mean, they went with a 255 section width, so they're intimating they want it to be a competent handler. No one expects it to be an M car. But you should be able to have some fun with it in the twisties if the mood strikes you.

So one of the biggest redesigns in a long time, and not one new color. That is pathetic. They were already poor to begin with.
