That headline. Lol.

But I honestly haven't seen many positive reviews either. My initial post in this very thread (previous page) pretty much outlined all the negative that I have seen so far which is too much for me.

Honestly want to like the car a lot as I really like the way it looks after seeing it in person last week, but the negatives that I have seen in many videos makes it a hard pass for me, unless the V6 engine changes my thoughts.

in the video they said the SHAWD feels like driving a worm or a snake (front not connected to the back)
they also said they wouldn't buy it or the IS compared to the competition.

Reviving this post.

Since then, it seems the TLX has found favor with a lot of other reviewers. Common themes include: SH-AWD is fun, the sound system is great, the interior is of higher quality than before. In fact, I can't think of many complaints that stood out to me other than the fake V6 sound (which, weirdly enough, also has its fans) and the tires. In fact, the comments section of TSP's video is full of people deriding the review as overly negative.

So, maybe it's simply not for everyone. In my estimation, the new base model that is the 2.0T is a huge step up in performance over the old NA 4-cylinder and seems like an all right replacement for both the old NA V-6 and I-4.

Lol! The reviews are mixed at best. But most of what I'm seeing is people being underwhelmed.

Most people won't care but people on Forums will only really care about the Type S review. In the real world, this non Type S TLX is for old people and people who don't care about much but getting to point B in semi luxury. The car isn't fast, doesn't look much different from the previous model and is is just boring. If the Type S turns out to be the slowest car out of the competition (C43, M340, Etc) it will be a total failure unless they start the price at 45K which they should have but the non type S model runs that much. .

The new TLX has been on sale for a few months now yet has made almost zero difference in sales compared to the last gen. Not to mention that these numbers are including the old last-gen TLX stock being clearanced.

Dealers are still getting inventory of the new TLX. In Nov/Dec sales have been mostly the new 2021 model year. And they're transacting for nearly 40% more than the 2020MY. I would think Acura is okay with those overall numbers. I doubt they were expecting the TLX to sell 80K units a year or anything like that.

I'm guessing there is a supply issue as I searched and am only coming up with 8 available in the entire Seattle area.

There's no supply issue. According to Car Gurus, there's currently 5,400 2021 TLX's being sold in the U.S. That's more than the 3 Series at 4,200 and WAY more than the G70, which is at less than 2000.

Well, they certainly aren't here in the PNW. Even with a 500 mile radius, I only get to 13. I have to go nationwide to find 4k.

You must have misread, because according to Car Gurus, there's not 13 but 131 Acura 2021 TLX's currently being sold within a 50-mile radius of Seattle.
