Lexus typically does not do it with AWD cars, but the 4GS F Sport RWD had staggered wheels.

My friend's E350 with staggered wheels rides poorly & noisily compared to the base E350 with the standard set up and beautiful ride.
He investigated purchasing standard rear wheels and tires, but it was all too complicated for him, so he gave up and just accepted the E350 AMG as is.

Agreed. I did always wondered why they don't stagger the wheels on the AWD GS when they do on the IS, but I'm not complaining because it's nice to be able to rotate the tires.

Thats one knock against the S Class, unless it has the base 18s they all have staggered wheels and the tires can't be rotated

As far back as the 90's, when some versions of the GS 300 had 215-width tires in the front, and 235-width tires in the rear.

My 2016 Lexus IS 300 AWD had staggered tires (225 front, 255 rear) because I had the F Sport package.

The staggered setup also induces understeer unless you try to tune it out. The IS has always been dynamically good up to 8/10s but after that, the understeer is very bad. I wouldn't say the IS has been the best handling car in the class because it isn't but it has the best handling / ride compromise in the class. Also, those garbage Turanzas don't help.

I think a lot of the issue is in the Turanzas. I felt the handling improved noticeably with stickier rubber.

Adding a little wider of a tire on the 2021 will give it better roadholding.

2021 Lexus IS Now Features A 0% APR Deal
The Lexus IS has been redesigned for the 2021 model year but Lexus is already offering a great finance deal on the sporty sedan. Shoppers are now able to finance the 2021 IS at 0% APR for 60 months. Compared to last month’s deal which was 1.9% APR for 60 months, that’s an almost 2% drop in interest. This large difference in interest can lead to some big savings. Let’s take a look at the base IS which starts at $40,025 (including destination fees). With last month's offer of 1.9% APR for 60 months, the monthly payment would equate to $700 with $1,963 in interest costs. With the new offer, there are no interest costs and the payment comes out to $667/month. That means interest-free financing leads to a much lower monthly payment and savings of $1,963 in interest over the life of the loan.

Next to competitors’ offers, this is a stand-out deal. Especially compared to the 2021 Acura TLX. The 2021 TLX was also just redesigned, but current offers have been holding steady at 1.9% APR for 60 months. However, we wouldn’t be surprised to see some enhancements with the holiday season just around the corner. In the case of the 2021 BMW 3-Series, APR is also higher at 1.9% for 60 months but it can be combined with a $2,000 APR credit.

Potential buyers should note that this 0% APR offer is almost identical to what is being featured on the older 2020 Lexus IS which is unusual, especially when the newer model is a redesign. The only difference is that the 2020 model is eligible for a $1,000 APR bonus. Despite the extra rebate, many shoppers will most likely want to opt for the 2021 model as they can get upgraded tech and design and still receive a similar financing deal.

For those that are interested in a different Lexus vehicle, there’s good news. Lexus’ 0% APR deal is available across the rest of the 2021 lineup too, so savings can be found no matter which vehicle you choose.

Current offers are based on a location in the western states and are available through November 30.

sure they can, the rotation is just limited to left/right side rotation and not front/back. I get my g90 staggered wheels/tires rotated every oil change (6K).

^^^^I'm old school. I remember in the early days of the radial, when theory was that once a tire was installed on one side of the car it should not be moved to the other, in other words change the rotation direction. That has stuck with me and I still adhere to that logic.

Of course, the early ISF had directional spokes and the four wheels were corner specific. Moving the tire/wheel tire combo from side to side would mess up the styling.

That doesnt do much for you from a tire wear standpoint though. The front back rotation is what extends tire life.

Most manufacturers don't recommend swapping staggered wheels.

The brand’s financing specials include a 0% interest rate for five years on most 2020 models and all 2021 vehicles. Some of these Lexus specials also carry a cash back incentive of up to $1,000.

If you secure your own financing or pay cash, you can opt for a rebate of up to $7,000, depending on the vehicle and model year. Cash back incentives aside, you’ll likely get a better interest rate through Lexus Financial than you will from a bank or credit union, as the current national average is 4.22% for a five-year new-car loan

Depends on where you live in the world... for example Canadian Lexus models are in very high demand.

IS has 2.9% financing The 2020 model is 1.9
LX is 4.9%
LC is 4.9%

They could have excluded the 2021 IS from the deal if they wanted to.
