Japanese auto companies need to stop worrying about the Germans. They can’t compete with their loyalty. Just make something that Lexus or JDM car people will buy. Sell a few high performance F models for a few thousand more. If they are going to discontinue their sporty sedans go out with a bang.
Lexus as always is very conservative especially when it comes to proper wheel/tire fitment. RCF and GSF did have proper setups.

IS is about $40-50k and im sure you can easily get 10% off also.
0% is all well and good but key to sales in the IS segment is strong lease programs.

2020 IS 300 AWD
$369/month
36 months
$3999 due at signing
$1500 lease cash
10k miles per year
2021 IS 350 F Sport
$359/month
36 months
$3999 due at signing
$1500 lease cash
10k miles per year
Given those leases, they're going to have a hard time clearing out the outgoing models.

The really sad part is they developed a new V6TT and 10speed trans that would work great in a “truly” New IS instead of this refresh. Imagine IS500 with 450hp and 10speed with better performance than the M340i. That would get everybody’s attention. What is stopping them from doing this is really beyond comprehension......
