i just don't understand america
the minivan has so much more utility than an SUV, which 99.98% of people do not take offroad.
more cargo space, lower load height, slippery-er drag. Easier to get in and out, esp with sliding doors in tight parking spots.
I think it would be cool if they could making a sliding front door that slides forward instead of swinging open.

Totally agree. After all, this is also the land where people turned their back on sedans.
It's an image-thing. People in the U.S. have allowed themselves to be indoctrinated with the idea, which basically started in the auto-press, that minivans aren't "cool"...and that their friends will laugh if they see one in the driveway.

just a matter of time before the CUV becomes uncool.
I mean the RAV4 and all these suv mom-mobiles are pretty much uncool.
