The rear looks better than the not so good looking sedan rear. Not sure anyone is gonna buy this if there are no dealers.

Canada is reportedly getting this, while the U.S. is not at the moment.

Not for sale in USA, so it won't matter how many dealers there are.

The exterior facelift works wonders in wagon form, but the interior is really showing its age.

Nope, just Europe.

It's the air vents. They look like they belong on an early 2000s Chevy. The Stinger's otoh are much more of a modern design thus the interior seems to have aged slightly better.

This round of the Options Game was enlightening.

I won't tell you guys what we paid for the 2021 BMW 330i M Sport we just added to the garage, but I will say the MSRP of approximately $49,000 US. For a little over a thousand bucks more, one can have a fully-loaded G70 3.3T Sport Prestige in rear-wheel-drive. That means twin-turbo V6 power, a limited-slip diff, and the fancy quilted leather. The G70 is a killer value.

I would feel it important to mention that the four-cylinder turbos in these two cars are not apples-to-apples, nor are the sixes. Still, given the choice between the 30i's mill and the Genesis boosted six, I would take the latter.

I agree that THIS is currently where the Genesis value play is -- for the same $$, you can get a much better equipped car. I do not see many 340 customers passing in favor of the G70 TTV6, or 330 customers for the G70 2.5T.

But a 330 customer opting for the TTV6, or an Accord/Camry/Maxima/6 customer going with the G70 2.5T, yes, I absolutely see that.

There is no G70 2.5T, it still uses the same ancient 2.0T from a decade ago. Which is a shame because the 2.5T demolishes pretty much almost every other single turbocharged 4-cylinder currently on sale in its performance.

Another downgrade- we don't get the digital gauge cluster like the Korean spec model. Somehow it feels like Genesis is putting all their efforts in the GV70 and just neglecting the G70 with this refresh.

I'm sorry, the 2022 isn't getting the 2.5 from the GV70????

I know it's getting a similar interior upgrade.

Nope. 2022 refresh still uses the 2.0T. The Stinger is the one with the 2.5T.

I have test-driven a G70 with the 2.0T....in fact, did an entire MM-Full-Review. IMO, there is nothing wrong with that engine.

That is not necessarily a downgrade. You might (?) be one of the exceptions, but, in general, Americans prefer analog or analog-design gauges.

It's not very powerful nor competitive and has pretty poor fuel economy. The 2.5T makes some 50 more horsepower with a higher displacement and yet has better fuel economy, which is saying something.

I sincerely doubt this since every manufacturer is moving to digital gauges, including the American companies. The new gauge cluster in the G70 isn't fully analog either, but half digital and half analog like the Accord.
