Is it worth the money to list my car for sale on Ebay?
I really would like to sell my car before winter, however I am having trouble selling it because 1) I need to find someone who wants to buy a car with all this stuff done 2) I am not selling a decked out $7,000 Honda Civic to a 16 yr old. So I need someone who wants that stuff and has some money. So the marketplace as you guys know, is very very small. Is it worth spending $40 to list it on Ebay for a week, and if it doesn't sell I am out the $40 and have to start all over. What success have you guys had or not had. What should I be asking for the car, I am down to $19,000 obo, but I was hoping for around $18,000. I just think Ebay might be able to get me the exposure I need, however I have had the car on cardomain.com and like 8 or 9 thousand people have seen it in the past 2 months and no buyers or even people seriously interested.

it's actually 80 bucks. 40 to list and 40 the first time it gets bid on.
i listed an ambulance for a friend last night and read the rules very clearly. i guess we'll see how it goes, then i can make an observation on it. I feel like it is good exposure.

Just listed my car on there this past sunday, going great so far, but my car is basically stock and seems very appealing to most people. Started it at 4,900(NR), now its $12,700 less than two days later. Five days to go. Its $40 to start and then another $25 if your reserve price is met, or if its No Reserve, then if a bid is made your charged $25.
Honestly, I dont know what route I would take if I was in your shoes. I think EBAY for a car like yours would be a waste, but like you said, it does give you exposure and perhaps someone sees it on there and then wants to come by and talk business. I guess it your call. Anyway that you can start to part it out and sort of bring it back to stock?

I listed and sold my last car on http://www.carsoup.com and it worked great. Since it says you're in Wisconsin this would be an option for you. It only costs $25 to place an ad and the ad is listed until you sell it or take the ad off. Check it out.
