I tend to like GM products (particularly Buicks), and I'm not wild about the Corolla Cross's interior, but, yes, it is a vehicle I could live with as a daily driver. I'm used to driving a slightly smaller competitor...the Buick Encore GX.

i think this car will be a hit. great value, great safety. great reliability, decent looks, great resale, comfortable, roomy enough for a lot of people's uses.

I agree, it will be a hit, even beyond the popularity of the Matrix! Because, in addition to filling the hole the Matrix left behind, the CC has what most buyers these days are looking for, and what the Matrix didn't have--the look of a small SUV.

Many posters in this thread say the CC won't outsell the RAV as I suggested. But, I did qualified this with, if the economic downturn continues, people will be forced to buy more affordable cars. The CC is not better than the RAV, it's simply more affordable than the RAV. When/if times are tough, the young and the old on limited and/or fixed incomes will flock to buy the CC.

I ordered one of these, and took delivery this week of it for my daughter. It's a great little CUV and feels solid. Is it anything like the Lexus vehicles we've had and have, no. However it isn't supposed to be. It's a great alternative to not need needing the new RAV4 size and keeping her out of a Corolla 4dr sedan.
