Classic Figure-8 racing, IMO, is some of the most interesting type of racing in the business....and takes a level of skill and split-second judgement second to none....particularly going through the center-intersection in a crowd. One of the old Figure-8 tracks used be on Long Island, at Islip, NY, but went out of business a few decades ago. This is the Irwindale Speedway in California....with compact FWD cars.
