I dumped the Pacifica... for another Pacifica...

Sprinter is truck chassis, they also make the Metris which is also truck chassis and the passenger versions are more suited towards taxi duty, not personal use. I own cargo versions of both for my business.

the odyssey doesn't sound great, or even especially reliable. It's just old.
i'm sure the '21 sienna will be decent, but likely not available soon enough i don't think.
I would not try to 'convince' her to get an suv. One way or another, you'll regret that down the road. She will always be able to hold it against you.
If she wants another pacifica and doesn't care about the issues, that's what i'd get. Maybe see if you can find a dealer that will do the pickup/drop off then you don't have the bother of taking it to the dealer.
as for "you" paying for it, you're married so i'd say you're both paying for it. at least the courts would see it that way.
in other words, get over it.

I had an Expedition Max as a road trip rental and it was actually better than I would have ever expected. Never really felt its size, IMO, until I tried to squeeze into a few way-too-tight parking spots. I'm in the market for a 3-row SUV and would seriously consider it if I really wanted/needed a full-sized one - we're looking more the mid-sized segment.
We've checked out the Palisade a couple times and like it on paper, but every time I see it/sit in it - there's just something I'm not quite sold on with it. Still haven't driven it though.
My wife and I generally agree that we'd prefer not to get a minivan - that at least we have that going for us... haha Actually, we joke that it's not a bad idea to have one but then we'd have to see who draws the "short straw" and has to actually drive it!

You'll have to pry my dad's minivan from his cold dead fingers. He is a handyman by trade and it's the ultimate utility vehicle for general tradesman stuff(he has a one ton truck for any large tasks).

If she actually wanted a Pacifica and enjoyed it and would miss it, that would be totally different.
Bear in mind too, that we both drive this car pretty equally. She doesn't commute to work, so this car drives her to the grocery store, shopping, out with the kids...I drive it when we go out as a family and on all our trips. I would say 60% of the mileage I actually put on it.

I liked the Aviator as a car for myself, not as a family car. I don't want to spend more than $50,000 or so, or if we spend Aviator money I'd rather get a bigger vehicle like an Expedition. I'd consider an Explorer but value wise it isn't there IMO.

An SUV she will like the way it drives and the AWD and the secure feeling in the rain and the Pacifica and the sliding doors will be forgotten.
It was the same way when she had her Prius and I convinced her to get the first Jeep. It "had" to be a hybrid, now the thought of getting another hybrid doesnt even cross her mind.

Its a great minivan. My only issue is the reliability, if it weren't for that I would go get another one and not even shop around.
Its not just me though, I post on the Pacifica forum and there are just lots of reliability issues. Mine are actually minor, people have had their sliding doors fall off, vans stall in the middle of the street, transmission failures...plus all the problems I've had. Its reflected in all the reliability metrics there are t0o, lowest rating in CR, etc.

Of what you listed, I would get the Odyssey. It has the best room, fuel economy, really solid smooth V6 J series, people seem to really like them.
You only have two kids right? Are sedans totally out? If not I would check out a RLX or G80, you can get great deals on them and they are pretty roomy, especially the RLX which I have heard they are taking 11K off right off the bat now and it has a lot of rear leg room, more then anything in its class.

I know my wife
She loved that Prius. It wasn't the Prius as a vehicle, it was the whole hybrid thing and "look aren't I different" and it had a lot of cool technology (she likes technology). I hated it. One week in the Jeep and she forgot all about the Prius. Not because she loved the Jeep she just doesn't care lol. When it came time to get another Jeep there was no complaint, because it was the same thing.
She would just always get the same thing over and over again left to her own devices is what it is.
With a Prius, I can understand it. Driving one (and sometimes looking at one) violates the Constitutional clause on cruel and unusual punishment. They don't call that the car for people who dislike cars for nothing LOL.

Have you considered leasing?
Probably get much more car for your $$$.
When I was shopping late last year - XC90 and RX350 were solid SUVs with high quality interior.
If you want more performance then I would look at Germans.
Unless you plan to keep this over 5years - I don’t see any benefits to buying it.

Just go get a Palisade or Telluride and bring it home in the driveway with a bow on it as a surprise. Sure, she'll be really mad at first, but once she sees how great a vehicle it is, she'll come around and tell you for years to come how you were right.
