2021 Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport

This is just dumb:

So Ford went to all the trouble and expense to create a bespoke manual transmission with a dedicated crawler gear for hardcore off-roading; but they don't think the same people who would be excited about that would want the bigger tires, front and rear lockers, and upgraded shocks? For, you know, off-roading?

Now, if they would consider pairing the MT with the V6, that would be something, but it doesn't seem to be on the table.
They are taking feedback of opening up the 2.3 Sasquatch with MT based on their PR person.

I think this will be a home run for Ford. It's all going to depend on what they can produce and get to market however. CoVid is going to F things up for sure. I really think they are making the smart move of having a manual option. Most off roaders prefer that for sure. Would have been nice to get the 7 speed with the V6, but maybe the trans can't handle the power? I really hope if sales are strong they consider to add some other engine options. I think they would sell REALLY well with the small power stroke and a manual. Or, how about the Coyote 5.0 V8 and a stick. That would be even better!

Love the industrial look of this and certainly gives an image of beefiness. Although I do wonder why the tow ratings are so low and is it BOF? No I'm not interested enough to read up on it and frankly don't care enough.

Tow ratings align with Wrangler, although 2 door Wrangler I believe is just 2,000 pounds.
Bronco is body on frame, Bronco Sport is unibody.

The disconnecting front stabilizer bar can be disconnected at load, something you can see happen in real time in the gif above. Being able to do so while the vehicle is under load is a win over the Wrangler Rubicon, which requires you to be on relatively flat terrain for it to disconnect. Ford’s sway bar disconnect appears to happen in a split second, too, whereas the Wrangler’s takes longer. Sure, that’s nit picking, but Ford's tech is cooler.

Yeah, I'd like to see OJ take a stab at it. I imagine his opinion would fit nicely.
Too small of a truck IMO and i'm just not digging the styling. And then there's the fact that it's an FCA product.
