Thought so. Looks like an Escape platform turning out something a little bit rugged. Like a RAV4 trail model.

How does it look like a Bronco? You can’t even see it

Very simple. Except for the four doors, there's the answer to your question.

So now this thread is going to be about the Blazer too huh? This vehicle doesn't even compete with the Blazer.

If Ford is benchmarking the Bronco II, this vehicle is already a failure.

Besides the fact that @mmarshall 's personal views regarding the new Blazer represent nothing more than one single solitary person's completely subjective opinion about design.

LOL. Tell that to GM. They can't sell Blazers without incentives. That goes way beyond me, my friend.

We'll see. You seem to be sticking your neck out with predictions, even more than me.

Almost every GM model needs BIG incentives to sell. Sales for GM models are doing very well in the US compared to what was expected.

Some definitely do, but I'm not sure I'd say "most".

Anyhow, back to the new Bronco (and the Baby Bronco), it looks like we won't see them before the end of the year. At the D.C. Show, the Ford reps told me they changed it from a 2020 model to a 2021. That means it can't be (legally) released before January. I'm sure looking forward to seeing it without all that body-tape, although the basic shape of it is quite clear, even with the tape.

Body tape always does look hideous.

Simple......because most of them weren't real SUVs to start with.
