Lot of older people like minivans. I post on the Pacifica forums and have been reading the Odyssey forums and Sienna forums and a lot of the members are older people without kids.

Years ago, one of my colleagues, a single guy who is actually an inch or two taller than me (I'm 6' 2") used to drive a Caravan....he said it was the only thing, at the time, that gave him the headroom he wanted LOL. Unfortunately, his reliability-experience with it was about the same as your Pacifica....with an even worse paint job, as that was one of those early 1990s where manufacturers had so many problems with the new EPA-mandated paint procedures. He converted to Toyota afterward, and got a RAV-4.

My brother in law and his dad are really tall, like 6'5", his dad has a minivan and says the same thing. Its the only thing comfortable for him to drive.

But again though, I really think that plays a role in their low brand loyalty numbers

We used to rent a house now and then in The Villages a huge retirement community in Central Florida (+100k population) and I'd see a lot of minivans all over the place.
