I wish Lexus would make their LS in two separate body styles like Mercedes.
One spacious beautiful riding high volume model like S Class and previous generations of LS's, and a second body style in a low volume sporting-luxury niche 4 Door Gran Coupe like this Mercedes AMG GT 4.

Yeah, they completely abandoned the former, but didn't go far enough to compete with the latter. Ended up with something almost nobody wanted. Not surprising. Looks like they've giving up on being a leader in the luxury market, and are just focusing on volume in the premium Toyota market.
Congrats, beautiful looking car and I wish you good luck with it.
However, we cannot allow you to change your name to AMGRuger!
That doesn't have a nice ring to it lol.

Lexus performance is pretty lacking.

Yea but lease rates aren't that good on Porsche and Audi.

Surprisingly, I guess due to the pandemic, the salesperson didn't even go with me on the test drive. If I knew before, I would have been test driving more cars lol

From a performance perspective, obviously there's no comparison to the LS.The GT faster, handles better, brakes better. But the LS has better amenities. Kind of like comparing apples to oranges.
