No Under 1. It was already tested doing 1.1 as posted above with a package. But they are trying to get it under that. and probably will.

even if the car has enough power I doubt any street tire is going to be able to put that to the ground. Maybe on slicks on a prepped surface.

The thrusters would aim diagonally down and out to give appropriate grip to get to that 1 sec market. I have friends that have Ludicrous plus and they have launched it for me. It hurts...noticeably more painful than my Model 3 Performance which gets to 60 in about 3 flat. I can't imagine it's a full second faster to 1 second. Lol

so if you are on crumbly pavement that has some sand or maybe wet and don't have much grip, suddenly you are doing 60 on the same crappy pavement because of a thruster shot you forward like a cannonball. What could possibly go wrong?
