But obviously I didn’t just start talking about cars to my wife and 2 kids lol.
We considered Cayenne/Macan when i got my X3 late last year.
My wife and daughter don’t care about cars but my 3yr old boy is obsessed already haha.

Uhhh, you might want to check post 103 on the thread about the LC 500 convertible being $80,000 over sticker. Who commented on who's post? I can find more examples. This thread is about Porsche, How many have you owned again? I've owned two recently, a Macan S and 718 GTS. Yet, I still say Porsche is known for the 911. Driving by a Porsche dealer and asking your wife doesn't make you Porsche authority. I saw a Lamborghini on tv and asked my cat about it....I guess I am knowledgable about them now LOL.

How many movie / pop culture moments did a Macan have? Are there generations of fans collecting them? Are they featured in museums around the world? Let’s be real here.
911 is the most iconic sports car around the world. Corvette and Mustang are up there as well here in the US. They transcend their brands and car culture because everyday folks know what they are.

No...your not correct. Apart from the Cayenne's V6, Porsche don't use any other VW Group engines that I know of..

The Macan always used the Volkswagen Group's MLB platform and 4 cylinder. Now the V6 version Macan is an Audi design shared with the Panamera and Cayenne I believe. If what I read is correct EZZ... that is a shared V8 that between Porsche, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini . So does that just leave the 718 and 911 as the only models with Porsche only ICE engines/platforms? Now, I know they aren't exactly the same...Porsche does their own special tuning. And the real magic is in the Porsche transmissions. So I don't really see Jill as incorrect. I read Elon Musk just had a meeting with the head of VW...would have like to have been a fly on the wall for that meeting.
