Zupra 1 year ownership review

I have a Mission Performance stage 2 tune and I need to get my idrive firmware updated but can’t since BMW will lock the ECU again and I would have to ship my ECU across the country again to do another bench unlock which I don’t feel like doing. I haven’t heard of Toyota locking the ECUs like BMW.

Yup, it's the same situation with 6/2020+ Zupra's as well. They're hard locked (no bench unlock available). I went with a custom ECITEK tune from my Zupra tuner. car runs 11.5s already on e50 w/ just downpipe. Hoping to get to low 11s.
I forgot about that, sweet! If I remember you got a 2020 so tuning shouldn’t be an issue vs. 2021 since no one has been able to unlock the ECU yet. Do you know if the 2021 Supras have the same ECU issue?

It's normal for me: everybody and their grandma wants to race you, whether it's in their suv or bmw hating slow lexus... Lol

Nice1 year review, that 60-130 is very impressive, I don't think many realize how fast that is.
This car definitely didn't get a lot of love from most but most of those folks are just commenters with no skin in the game when it comes to driving or owning a fast car. While I would have liked a 6MT version of it the ZF trans it has is very respectable.
Keep us posted on how it's going with it, I like that 340i too.

60-130 in under 6 seconds is hugely impressive, especially for something that costs as much as it does
