Default Zupra 1 year ownership review

TL;DR - Everything I had hoped for and more! The Zupra is back, haters be damned!

The Good : incredible chassis and engine with phenomenal tuning potential, and a robust community of owners, mfg, and shops to support it to do everything from drag race to road race!

The Bad: Supra tax is real and there's still folks stuck in the past about the partnership with BMW.

The Ugly: addictive power, but everyone and their mom wants to race you....

Months : 12 months
Miles: ~4400 (366/month, mostly weekends
Mods: Pure turbo, port injection, downpipe, and tune
Horsepower: ~750hp
1/4 mile : TBD
60-130 : 5.86seconds

Great list of mods and an awesome looking car. Thanks for the input! Some of us are keeping an eye on these for future dream purchases...

Wow That's pretty incredible. Wonder what special editions Toyota still has up their sleeve.

That’s incredible! What’s it like driving the Supra with that much horsepower? I bet it’s like a rocket.

Wow that’s amazing. I wonder if I could do the same with my M340? Mine is tuned and it seems all I need is a turbo and downpipe? How much was the turbo?

That's insane, I bet it's bad driving around. I have an M340i and I get challenged to race numerous times I'm out it's annoying. I can't imagine the Supra.

Why do people keep refering to it as the Zupra? What is that supposed to mean?

OK...Gotcha. It does bear a resemblance to the Z3/Z4.
